I finished off my last blog post with how much I love organized travel. And so I start off this post with a list of the basics, things I take with me for camping.
Tent and stakes
Inflatable bed
Inflatable couch
Foldable table
BBQ Grill
Cast iron pots and pans
Cooler
Frozen bottles of water
Food store
Dry foods
Spices
Cooking ingredients
Solar and battery-operated lights
Water jugs
Toilet Paper!
Layers of clothes and personal items
Toiletries and bug repellant spray
Charged devices to keep busy after lights out
Book or other reading material
Clip light for reading material
Crafts
Plastic containers to store cooked foods
Plastic trash bags
Blankets and layered items to keep warm as temps drop overnight. Think warm socks.
Camping mat for the ground
Work out mats that are connected as squares to make the ground a little softer over the mat and can be layered with a rug or blanket on the floor in the tent
Items to cook with such as charcoal, matches, lighter with long extension that is useful to light the charcoal, paper or kindling to light, and anything else necessary
Amazon items I will link in another post of a more comprehensive list rather than basics of camping items we pack such as a rechargeable touch lamp to provide more lighting
Anything else that is not going to take up too much room in my packing. I love packing foldable items that fold flat that I can open for easy use.
